Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship (varies)

To spur the development of the next-generation of advanced manufacturing professionals, the Gene Haas Foundation awards high school seniors seeking a post-secondary degree in machining and advanced manufacturing technology. Up to $10,000 is available. Scholarships may be awarded in any number or amount determined by the recommendation of the selection committee.

  • $1,000/varies x 1 year

  • Up to 6/varies

Eligibility

  • Must be currently be enrolled in the Manufacturing Pathway at the Career Pathways Institute
  • Must be pursuing a degree, certificate, or diploma in Manufacturing Technology or Machining
  • Must meet requirements of acceptance to the trade program at an accredited post-secondary school of choice

Selection Procedure

  • Applications will be reviewed by a scholarship selection committee appointed by the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation.

Terms of Payment

  • The scholarship will be paid through the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation to appropriate educational institution per scholarship eligibility defined above. Scholarships larger than $500 will be split into equal semester payments.

Claim Scholarship

  • The student must provide proof of enrollment (class schedule) and student ID number to the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation for scholarship distribution. Proof of enrollment is needed for each semester covered by scholarship terms.
