Grand Island Senior High Class of 1964 Scholarship
The Grand Island Senior High Class of 1964 offers this scholarship in recognition and appreciation of the veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces, especially those from our class who served during the Vietnam War. Students who demonstrate financial need, leadership, and volunteerism, will be considered.

Eligibility
- Must be a graduate of Grand Island Senior High
- Must enroll in a two or four-year college or university in Nebraska
- Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA
- Must be involved in activities at GISH or in the community
- Must describe leadership and volunteerism through essays on activity page

Selection Procedure
- Applications will be reviewed by a scholarship selection committee appointed by the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation.
Terms of Payment
- The scholarship will be paid through the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation to appropriate educational institution per scholarship eligibility defined above. Scholarships larger than $500 will be split into equal semester payments.
Claim Scholarship
- The student must provide proof of enrollment (class schedule) and student ID number to the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation for scholarship distribution. Proof of enrollment is needed for each semester covered by scholarship terms.
