Grand Island Senior High Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) Scholarship (varies)
The Grand Island Senior High Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) has created this scholarship for students that have successfully completed four semesters of AFJROTC and have completed the minimum number of community service hours (80 hours) to the Grand Island Community.

Eligibility
- Must be a graduate of Grand Island Senior High
- Must be on track to complete 4 semesters of AFJROTC
- Must have completed 80 hours or more of service to the Grand Island Community
- Must have completed the Junior or Senior year in AFJROTC
- Must have served on the Lower Squadron, Upper Squadron or Command Staff
- Must enroll in a college, trade school, or university in pursuit of a diploma or degree

Selection Procedure
- Applications will be reviewed by a scholarship selection committee appointed by the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation.
Terms of Payment
- The scholarship will be paid through the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation to appropriate educational institution per scholarship eligibility defined above. Scholarships larger than $500 will be split into equal semester payments.
Claim Scholarship
- The student must provide proof of enrollment (class schedule) and student ID number to the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation for scholarship distribution. Proof of enrollment is needed for each semester covered by scholarship terms.
