Scholarships

CNC IAPMO mission is to deliver the highest standards in education, professional development and services with our industry partners to help enforce the codes created by our National Chapter. This scholarship encourages students to become part of the time-honored trade of Plumbing and HVAC.

Eligibility

• Must be a graduate of one of the following high schools: Grand Island Senior High, Grand Island Northwest, Grand Island Central Catholic, Heartland Lutheran, Wood River, Doniphan-Trumbull, Shelton, Aurora, Central City, Centura, Nebraska Christian, St. Paul, Palmer, Elba or Giltner.
• Must major in Plumbing or HVAC.
• Must attend Southeast Community College - Milford, Metropolitan Community College, Northeast Community College, Mid-Plains Community College - North Platte or Central Community College - Hastings.

Selection Procedure

• Applications will be reviewed by a scholarship selection committee appointed by the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation.

Terms of Payment

• The scholarship will be paid through the GIPS Foundation to the appropriate educational institution per scholarship eligibility defined above. Scholarships larger than $500 will be split into equal semester payments.

Claim Scholarship

• The student must provide proof of enrollment (class schedule) and student ID number to the GIPS Foundation for scholarship distribution. Proof of enrollment is needed for each semester covered by scholarship terms.
