Cari Cobler Memorial Education Scholarship

Cari Cobler was a passionate special education teacher who taught at Wasmer Elementary School for most of her career. Cari’s teaching focus was always “for the kids” and she left an indelible mark on each of her students. Cari’s passion, drive and dedication to teaching was evident to coworkers, parents and students alike. Cari spent many hours outside of her school day preparing in order to provide memorable and meaningful opportunities for her students to learn in the ways that they could best. This scholarship is intended to honor Cari’s selfless passion for education and to provide an opportunity for others to achieve and fulfill their dream of making a difference in the lives of children through teaching.

Eligibility

  • Must major in Education or Special Education. Preference will be given to students seeking a degree in Special Education.
  • A high school GPA of 3.0 or better
