Scholarships

The Blaine Kyle Morrow Memorial Scholarship is offered to any hardworking Grand Island Senior High student attending Hastings College. This scholarship is offered by Blaine’s family and many generous friends. Throughout his life, Blaine was an extremely hardworking student and athlete, always putting the needs of others before himself. He had a passion for learning and enjoyed sharing this passion with others. It is very fitting that in his memory, this scholarship will help to provide others the opportunity to learn, grow, and share their experiences as Blaine enjoyed doing so much himself.

• Must be a graduate of Grand Island Senior High
• Must enroll at Hastings College

Selection Procedure

• Applications will be reviewed by a scholarship selection committee appointed by the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation.

Terms of Payment

• The scholarship will be paid through the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation to appropriate educational institution per scholarship eligibility defined above. Scholarships larger than $500 will be split into equal semester payments.

Claim Scholarship

• The student must provide proof of enrollment (class schedule) and student ID number to the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation for scholarship distribution. Proof of enrollment is needed for each semester covered by scholarship terms.
