The Grand Island Public Schools Foundation is offering Major Saver cards through participating elementary schools. Students will receive their sales information packets on January 9 and 10 and sell the $15 discount cards until January 20. Profits from the Major Saver cards directly support the participating schools. Grand Island Public Schools has received over $174,000 in proceeds from these sales since 2016.
Major Saver cards can be purchased via cash, check or online at www.majorsaver.com. The online sale can be credited back to a particular student and school. All cards purchased online will be mailed to the customer. Participating students can earn credit for online sales by generating a custom link to send to friends and family. Credit and debit cards are accepted.
Major Saver stresses safe selling and discourages door to door campaigning. The company encourages students to sell to family members, neighbors, or other adults the family may know, and to always make sure their parents are involved.
The 2025 participating restaurants/establishments include: Texas T-Bone, Eileen's Cookies, Dairy Queen, Buffalo Wild Wings, Daily Dose Coffee, Tacos Los Hermanos, Culver's, Jumpstart Nutrition, Pizza Hut, Farmer's Daughter Cafe, Taco John's, Applebee's, Freddy's Steakburgers, Long John Silver's, Papa Johns, Pizza Ranch, West Anna Boutique, Jackrabbit Run Golf Course, Grand Island Parks and Recreation, and HyVee.
Please consider purchasing one or more Major Saver cards this year to help benefit the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation and these participating schools: Dodge, Engleman, Lincoln, Shoemaker, Stolley Park, Wasmer, and West Lawn.
