The Grand Island Public Schools Foundation is offering Major Saver cards through participating elementary schools. Students will receive their sales information packets on January 4th and 5th and sell the $15 discount cards until January 18. Profits from the Major Saver cards directly support the participating schools. Grand Island Public Schools has received over $174,000 in proceeds from these sales since 2016.
Major Saver cards can be purchased via cash, check or online at www.majorsaver.com. The online sale can be credited back to a particular student and school. All cards purchased online will be mailed to the customer. Participating students can earn credit for online sales by generating a custom link to send to friends and family. Credit and debit cards are accepted.
Major Saver stresses safe selling and discourages door to door campaigning. The company encourages students to sell to family members, neighbors, or other adults the family may know, and to always make sure their parents are involved.
The 2024 participating restaurants/establishments include: Big Apple Bagels, Culver’s, Pizza Hut, Applebee’s, Dairy Queen, Texas T-Bone, Farmer’s Daughter Café, Taco John’s, McKinney’s, Long John Silver’s, Pizza Ranch, Buffalo Wild Wings, Jiffy Lube, Grand Island Parks and Recreation, Papa Johns, Tacos Los Hermanos, Ihop, Pepper Jax Grill, Jackrabbit Run Golf Course, and HyVee.
Please consider purchasing one or more Major Saver cards this year to help benefit the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation and these participating schools: Dodge, Engleman, Knickrehm, Lincoln, Shoemaker, Stolley Park, Wasmer, and West Lawn.
