Zacharie Cloutier Memorial Scholarship

The Zacharie Cloutier Memorial Scholarship serves as a lasting tribute and legacy investment. It provides financial assistance to students committed to earning a two-year or four-year degree in the vital areas of Counseling, Psychology, and Behavioral Sciences.

Amount and Terms

  • $500 x 1 year

Number of Scholarships

  • 1

Eligibility

  • Must be a graduate of Grand Island Senior High School
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Behavioral Science.
  • Must demonstrate financial need as identified by eligibility for the free or reduced school lunch program.

Selection Procedure

  • Applications will be reviewed by a scholarship selection committee appointed by the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation.

Terms of Payment

  • The scholarship will be paid through the GIPS Foundation to appropriate educational institution per scholarship eligibility defined above. Scholarships larger than $500 will be split into equal semester payments.

Claim Scholarship

  • The student must provide proof of enrollment (class schedule) and student ID number to the GIPS Foundation for scholarship distribution. Proof of enrollment is needed for each semester covered by scholarship terms.
