Calling all future Islanders! 

Join the Grand Island Cheerleaders for a fun-filled cheer camp designed especially for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Campers will learn a dance routine, basic cheer motions, jumps, and exciting cheers while building confidence, teamwork, and school spirit.

Whether your child is new to cheerleading or already loves to perform, this camp is a great opportunity to learn new skills, make friends, and have fun with the Grand Island Cheer team. No experience is needed—just bring your energy, enthusiasm, and Islander pride!

What to bring:
  • Tennis shoes
  • Athletic clothes--shorts/leggings and a t-shirt
  • LABELED water bottle
What to expect:
  • Campers will learn how to do jumps

  • Open to all GIPS students entering Kindergarten-5th grade.
  • When: Tuesday, July 28, 2026
  • Time: 9:00-11:00 am
  • Where: Grand Island Senior High-East Gym
  • Deadline to register: Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 5:00 pm

INFO: registration fee is $25 with a t-shirt. If you sign up later than July 8th or walk in the day of the price will still be $25, but you may not receive a t-shirt. 

$10 donation option available ($25+ $10 =$35)

The GIPS Foundation, the 501(c)(3) non-profit arm of Grand Island Public Schools, partners with all GIPS booster clubs.

This collaboration is designed to simplify operations. The GIPS Foundation handles all administrative and financial duties, including managing funds and providing tax-exempt status for donations. This lets booster clubs focus their energy on directly supporting students and programs.
