Wiegand Family Scholarship (2)
Joel and Terry Wiegand have created these two scholarships in honor of the solid educational experience their sons, Jonathan and Nathan, received at Grand Island Public Schools. Joel, a long-time Grand Island CPA, and Terry, a lifetime educator with GIPS, believe that the Grand Island Public Schools fully prepared their children for college and ultimately their careers. The Wiegands are grateful for the high academic expectations and support from teachers and staff. These scholarships are intended for students who graduate Summa Cum Laude or Magna Cum Laude of their class. One Academic Aristocrat Scholarship is designated for a student planning to major in Accounting, Math, Math Education or Engineering. The second is reserved for a student planning to major in Elementary Education.
