The Grand Island Public Schools Foundation is offering Major Saver digital cards through participating elementary schools. Students will receive their sales information packets on January 8 and 9 and sell the $15 discount cards until January 23. Profits from the Major Saver cards directly support the participating schools. Grand Island Public Schools has received over $221,000 in proceeds from these sales since 2016.
Major Saver digital cards can be purchased online at www.majorsaver.com. The online sale can be credited back to a particular student and school. All cards purchased online are immediately available to the customer. Participating students can earn credit for online sales by generating a custom link to send to friends and family. Credit and debit cards are accepted.
The Major Saver Digital Fundraiser is designed to streamline the fundraising process and eliminate common logistical issues. This modern approach removes the need for students to handle cash, checks, order forms, or envelopes. A key benefit is the user convenience: the fundraising cards are always accessible on the user's phone via a user-friendly app, ensuring that all offers are always current and never outdated. Finally, the digital nature resolves issues with missing, lost, or stolen physical cards and is open to everyone, including a convenient donation component.
Major Saver stresses safe selling and discourages door-to-door campaigning. The company encourages students to sell to family members, neighbors, or other adults the family may know, and to always make sure their parents are involved.
The 2026 participating restaurants/establishments include: Carlos O Kelly’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Texas T-Bone, Island Oasis Water Park - Grand Island Parks and Recreation, Daily Dose Coffee, Dairy Queen, IHOP, Jackrabbit Run Golf Course, Applebee's, Long John Silver's, Farmer’s Daughter Cafe, Pizza Ranch, Lincoln Pool - Grand Island Parks and Recreation, Texas Roadhouse, Papa John's, Thunder Road Grill, HyVee, Taco John's, Pizza Hut, Grand Island Community Field House, Freddy's Steakburgers and Culver's.
Please consider purchasing one or more Major Saver Digital cards this year to help benefit the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation and these participating schools: Dodge, Engleman, Lincoln, Shoemaker, Stolley Park, and West Lawn.
