Scholarship Guidelines

This award is intended to recognize a Grand Island area High School senior who has started their post high school education path by attending and fully participating in the Scholarship Fair event.

Amount and Terms

• $500 x 1 year

Eligibility

• Must be a graduate of Grand Island Lutheran High, Grand Island Central Catholic, or Grand Island Northwest High
• Must have attended the Scholarship Fair and submitted a complete drawing slip
• Must complete scholarship application for the GIPS Foundation

Selection Procedure

• The selection will be by a random drawing from all GIPS students meeting all eligibility criteria.

Terms of Payment

• The scholarship will be paid through the GIPS Foundation to appropriate educational institution per scholarship eligibility defined above. Scholarships larger than $500 will be split into equal semester payments.

Claim Scholarship

• The student must provide proof of enrollment (class schedule) and student ID number to the GIPS Foundation for scholarship distribution. Proof of enrollment is needed for each semester covered by scholarship terms.
