The GIPS team - educators, custodians, paras, secretaries, counselors, administrators, social workers, nutrition services personnel, maintenance personnel, nurses, and specialists - forms a powerful force.
Together they dedicated themselves to shaping the lives of nearly 10,000 students.
We're kicking off the 2025 Staff Giving Campaign. Your passion lies in empowering students to achieve their dreams. The GIPS Foundation fuels that passion, providing scholarships, funding innovative classroom projects, and creating lasting legacies for generations of learners.
You are the heart of this campaign. Your generosity empowers the Foundation to:
Since 2004, GIPS staff have invested over $1.6 million in student futures. For every dollar you contribute, the Foundation multiplies its impact, generating an additional $16 in benefits for our students.
Donate $84 or more (just $7 per month) and receive an exclusive GIPS Foundation long-sleeved t-shirt.
Rules: The contest will run April 1 – 25. Although contributions will be accepted at any time, April 25 will be the last day contributions will be eligible for the contest.
With sincere desire to encourage the staff of Grand Island Public Schools to continue giving to the Foundation, Joel and Terry Wiegand have pledged $5,000 in support of the past and as a commitment to the present and future by matching all new and increased gifts from staff to the 2025 Staff Campaign. Your new or increased gift will add up twice as fast for students!
Payroll deductions are available to Grand Island Public Schools employees only.
