Form must be completed for each GIPS Foundation scholarship you are offered to complete the acceptance process.

The thank you process is completed online. The content entered into the form will be printed and included with a copy of your application to be shared with the donor.

Scholarship Acceptance

A thank you form must be completed for each GIPS Foundation scholarship you are offered. This is the second step in the scholarship acceptance process. If a thank you form is not received by the deadline the scholarship will be offered to an alternate.

Content Suggestions

  • Write sincerely with an active voice
    Example: "Thank you so much for your generosity.
     
  • Mention the scholarship by name
    Example: "It is an honor to be chosen for the [scholarship name]."
     
  • Briefly introduce yourself
    Example: "My name is [your name] and I plan to attend [college/university] and study [major/minor]." You can include college activities you plan to participate in.
     
  • Demonstrate the impact of the scholarship
    Example: Why did you choose to attend your college choice? What do you plan to study? How will this scholarship help you achieve this goal?
     
  • Share your future goals
    Example: "Upon completion of my studies I plan to pursue a career in..."
     
  • Personal thank you and closing
    Examples: "Thanks again for your gift." "Thanks again. I appreciate the scholarship assistance."
    Examples: "Sincerely, [your name]" "Warm regards, [your name]" "Yours truly, [your name]" "With sincere thanks, [your name]"
